BIG Nanny’s sleep caps (new improved fit) are made of lustrous silky satin and help to retain the moisture in your hair once you have applied BIG Nanny’s Hair oils at night. From first hand experience we would suggest that you wear your cap inside out, with the smooth satin against the hair for two reasons. A) the oils will not degrade the cotton elastic running around the perimeter of the cap and B) the cotton elastic how ever soft, cannot rub against your delicate hairline. Our sleep caps are of excellent quality and are available in Black, Red, Blue and Teal.

The Reason We Recommend these Sleep Caps

These particular caps have a Soft frill around its edges with fabric covered elastic for ease of fitting, it is gentle on the hairline particularly if worn inside out (BIG Nanny’s tip) and as they are single layer, they allow your head to breathe while you sleep. These caps meet the brief particularly for afro hair.

BIG Nanny’s caps do not have cotton knitted edges and are single layer.  Sleep caps with cotton knitted edges are NOT suitable for people who have issues with hairline as it soaks up any moisture leaving the hair line susceptible to breakage.  If you are prone to sweating at night then double layered sleep caps may not be suitable for you.

NOTE: please wash before use to remove excess dye as colour may transfer.
